Burn Care:
- Burn within sight. Never leave a candle unattended
- Trim the wick to ¼ inch (6 mm) before every light
- Burn on a level, heat-resistant surface
- Keep away from children, pets, drafts, vents, curtains, and anything that can catch fire
- Do not burn more than 4 hours at a time
- Let the candle cool before moving or relighting
- Stop burning when ½ inch of wax remains — do not let it burn to the bottom
- Glass will be hot. Do not touch the vessel while burning or immediately after
- Never use water to extinguish. Snuff or lid the candle
- Do not burn in a bedroom while sleeping
How a Dread WickCo drop works:
  1. We test the blend and lock the label.
  2. We pour a short run.
  3. Candles cure about two weeks.
  4. The drop goes up on the site while stock lasts.
  5. Sold out = that batch is finished.
If you want a shot at a limited scent, don't wait for a restock email that may never exist. Add it when you see it.

How are Dread WickCo candles made?

Every Dread WickCo candle is mixed, hand-poured, and finished in small batches in our Delaware studio in the United States. We don't mass-produce in a factory and we don't dropship from an overseas warehouse.

Each scent is a signature blend - we choose the notes, test the throw, and pour it ourselves. After the pour, candles cure for about two weeks so the fragrance binds to the wax before they ever ship. That's why processing can take up to four weeks. It's not a delay. It's the make.

Jars, wicks, wax, and fragrance oils are sourced from suppliers we trust; the candle you burn is poured and packed here.

How much does shipping cost?
